Not only did the Bharat Army dedicate a song to Pant, but he also returned back home having made quite a lot of new fans including the likes of Adam Gilchrist and Ricky Ponting.Even the Australian Prime Minister couldn’t help but praise Pant for his competitive spirit while also taking a cheeky dig at him as he hosted both teams at his residence. I have sledged and people have actually loved it.advertisement”That my mother and sister enjoyed it makes me happy,” Pant was quoted as saying by the Times of India.Pant also went on to state that he idolizes legendary wicket-keepers Adam Gilchrist and MS Dhoni, but he doesn’t try to copy them in any way.”I do idolize Gilchrist and Mahi bhai (Dhoni). But that doesn’t mean I want to become that same person. It’s not about copying your idol. It’s more about learning things from them. I want to be myself.
