He attended the New Beginnings Assembly of God in Greensburg. He is survived by one brother, Harold Simmonds, Shelbyville; three sisters, Diana Yates, Shelbyville, Linda Vire, Batesville, Sandra Simmonds, Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents; 7 brothers, Larry, George, Howard Jr., Donald, Richard, Earl, and John Simmonds; two sisters, Gail Greene and Jean Owens. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Sandcreek Cemetery in Greensburg with Rev. Mike Cunnington officiating followed by Military Graveside services.
