first_imgThey came with one thing in mind – a clean sweep of Gold, Silver and Bronze in the 200 metre sprint in their division but they missed this aim by a hair’s breath.The three 1- year-old students from Popondetta Primary school were not disappointed though as they still picked up the Gold and Silver medals through Kenis Koko and Abraham Torovi respectively while Lindsey Oki was just edged out by a stronger opponent from Jiwaka to steal ‘their’ Bronze medal.“We are very happy to be able to do this for our province. We came here not knowing what we were up against as it is our first time but we surprised ourselves as well when  nearly made a clean sweep” said Abraham for his mates. The series is presented as a TV cooking show with a dash of travel and lifestyle with Catherine’s culinary skills helping to connect families with loved ones living all around the globe. As part of the show Fulvio will visit six families from across the country who will show her how to make their favourite ‘Tastes Like Home’ dishes, before Catherine jets off to locations around the world to recreate the dishes with friends and family living abroad.Along with Londis, who for the third season proudly sponsor Tastes Like Home, Catherine is looking for what is the unmistakeable taste of home to your friend or relation.
